Utar Dundarartun was born in Ankara, Turkey on 6th of April in 1987. Started his first first education at a Private School in 19931998. After that, won the entrance exam of Hacettepe University State Conservatory on 1998. He began his musical education, entering the Classical Percussion Department of Hacettepe University, Ankara State Conservatory in 1998. He received first lessons from Hasim Yedican and became Tarkan Yedican's pupil at the same department afterwards. Then,Joined Prof. lhan Barans Jazz and Contemporary Music and Romantic Music courses in 2003. Also. composed and arranged The 7 Woman musicals pieces for the Turkish version of this theater in 2006. Participated some workshops about jazz/blues and Latin music in Haccetepe Conservatory. At the same time, I was member of the Haccetepe Jazz Quintet as a drummer and member of Betone Quartet as a piano player and composer. In 2008, I graduated from Percussion Department of Hacettepe Conservatory with 2nd degree of school placement award(Turkey). He participated The European Scholarship Tours of Berklee College of Music at Paris and accepted to Berklee with scholarship. Now, He is student at Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring & Jazz Composition Dual Major. Berklee has important values and opportunities force on their students. Their alumnis have got glorious achievements in the Contemporary Music History. These are very considerable references about mine decision of to go the Berklee College of Music. These are really Impressed and inspired me for focusing on my music. I have a lot of aims in that way, I shall fulfill all of these marks as soon as possible on during my education. After my graduation, I would like to be an important and valuable composer, arranger, producer and performer as a pianist all over the world and to share my knowledge and inventions with peoples in the future. To be a part of History of Music and Humanity is my realistic aim for the future.
